The increase shown in the price of polish pine sawlogs in September continued at a slower pace in October.
In accordance with the sales statistics revealed monthly by national forest administration Lasy Panstwowe for the Internet platform e-drewno, a 10.9% higher price than in a previous month had to be paid for pine sawlogs at PLN517/m³ ex forest road (equivalent to €110/m³) in October. After a decrease in September, the spruce price grew again in October (+30.1%). The price for oak continued to grow. Beech logs remained stable at PLN692/m³. The price for birch logs decreased below the peak reached in the beginning of autumn. The prices for coniferous industrial timber have also reached new peaks.
